摘要
利用脯氨酸类似物羟脯氨酸(HYP)的抑制生长作用,筛选出甘蔗(Saccharum sinensisRoxb.)细胞变异系R8968,抗性系细胞内脯氨酸含量比敏感系明显提高(3.8×)。在对抗性系和敏感系愈伤组织进行耐NaCl、低温及PEG的分析时发现,抗性系比敏感系耐NaCl、低温及PEG的能力加强。结果表明植物细胞内脯氨酸的过量合成对其耐环境胁迫是有利的。
Cultured sugarcane(Saccharum sinensis Roxb.) cell line R8968 was selected for resistance to growth inhibition by hydroxyproline(HYP), a proline analog. Comparison of the free amino acid pool level in the line with that of the HYP-sensitive donor showed substantial accumulation of proline(3.8× ). The responses of the cell line R8968 to NaCl, freezing temperature and PEG were also compared with those of the donor and the former exhibited remarkably increased tolerance to the tested conditions. The results showed that proline accumulation may favour the increased tolerance.
