摘要
Lenneberg的关键期假设使人们意识到年龄对学习语言的影响。本文认为要正确理解该假设在第二语言习得中的运用 ;根据我国的实际情况 ,建议正式学习外语的最佳年龄应确定于 1 2岁 。
Lenneberg's Critical Period Hypothesis make people aware of the influence of age on language learning. This article holds that it is necessary to correctly understand the application of this hypothesis to the L2 acquisition. According to the practical condition of our country, the article suggests that the best age for the formal learning of the language be twelve, and puts forward the author's opinion on the foreign language education at primary schools.
