The author holds the idea that pronunciation has great impact upon self - concept of language learners . A way to overcome students' psychological barriers of learning a foreign language is to learn pronunciation well. In classroom Englissh teaching, teachers ought to seek out effective methods to help students with their psychological barriers so that they are able to build up their good self - concept.
