试析东汉通好西域的原因

Reasons of East Han's Making Friendly Relationship with the Western Regions

东汉与西域的关系,三次中断,三次恢复,最后以通好西域为其结局。其原因为何?除了班超父子的作用外,还应看到西域各族的“向汉”愿望与助汉行动等。对这一问题的深入考察,对进一步探研两汉与西域的民族关系以及统一的多民族国家的形成与发展具有一定意义。

The relation between East Han and the Western Regions had been broken off for 3 times and recovered again,at last it ended with East Han's making friendly relationship with the Western Regions. Besides the roles of Ban Chao and Son,the wish of the Western Regions' People's following Han and their actions of helping Han,should be also taken into consideration. To probe into this subject is helpful for us to study the formation of our united nation with various peoples.
