语域是指在特定的语言环境中使用的,有一定的语言特征的语言变体。使用错误的语域往往会妨碍交际目的的实现。英语学习者应学会避免不同语言之间语域上的混淆。
Register refers to the variatior in style which is used in certain language environment and also has certain language features.Incorrect use of register would often hinder the realisation of language communication.Therefore,English learners should learn to avoid confusions in registers between different languages.
