Prefixation and Word Class

作为英语三大构词法之一的派生法（Derivation）按照词缀位置又可分为前缀法（Prefixation）和后缀法（Suffixation）。一般来说,后缀可派生出同原词不同词性的词,而某些前缀也具有这样的功能,不少英语学习者往往忽略这一点,而这是在英语学习中应当注意的语言现象。

There are three main kinds of word formation,among which Derivation can besubclassified into Prefixation and Suffixation. It is well known that the suffix can derivate a new word which is different from the root or base in word class.However,some prefixes have the same function.
