退耕还草生态建设是我国西部大开发的重点内容之一。结合我国西北地区的生态条件和生产实践 ,从种草规划、草地培育利用、技术服务、种子工程建设、草产业发展及法制、法规建设等方面探讨了西北退耕还草生态建设中值得重视的几个问题及相应的解决措施。

Restoring farmland to grassland and ecological environment improvement is one of the key works in west China development according to the Chinese central government policy;Based on the ecological conditions and agricultural production practices in Northwest China,several important problems and appropriate measures of restoring farmland to grassland and ecological environment construction are discussed in the aspect of grass cultivation planning,grassland improvement and utilization,technology extention,forage seeds production,forage commercial and industrial development and relevant law and regulations construction.
