A New Bitter Squash F_1 Hybrid-'Lubaoshi'

采用优势育种法 ,以雌性较强的a6 1 1作母本和优良株系a2 1为父本 ,育成苦瓜一代杂种绿宝石。该品种瓜为长圆锥形 ,早熟 ,春播初收期比对照英引、穗新 2号提早 3～ 7d(天 ) ;一般每 6 6 7m2 产量 30 0 0kg以上 ,比英引、穗新 2号增产 15 %以上 ;较耐炭疽病和白粉病 ,适合南方地区春。

F 1 hybrid Lubaoshi of bitter squash (Momordica charantia L.) was bred with inbred line a6-1-1(pistillate parent) and inbred line a2-1(pollen parent). It has conical fruits. It can be harvested 3-7 days earlier than control Yingyin and Suixin No.2 in spring. Its yield is over 45t·hm -2,over 15% higher than the two control cultivars. It is tolerant to anthracnose and powdery mildew, and can be cultivated in both open field and plastic funnel in spring and autumn in South China.
