The paper gives a brief introduction to the agricultural framework agreements still used by WTO and the promises of the Chinese government, and then discusses the Chinese agricultural disadvantages at present and the opportunities and challenges after Chinas entry into WTO. The article also suggests some strategies to develop the Chinese agriculture under the WTO system.
