The evolution from IS -95to1xRTT is the first step from CDMA to3G.The ad vantages of1xRTT include great improve ment of data speed,obvious increase of voice capacity,permanent on-line,prolong ing of mobile battery,reverse compatibility and voice /data sharing carrier.The CDMA operator in North America,Bell Mobile,who took the lead in imple-menting CD MA20001xRTT,commented on the evolu tion of CDMA network from its point of view.It is thought that it is time to im plement CDMA20001xRTT.
