陕北人学习英语的障碍主要在语音方面。汉语的辅音音位有送气与不送气之分 ,而英语辅音则有清浊之分 ;汉语的辅音除了 [n] [ ]之外 ,只能出现在音节首 ,而英语辅音除了 [ ]之外 ,既可以出现在音节首 ,也可以出现在音节尾 ;汉语的辅音音位没有组合现象 ,而英语的辅音组合可以多达三、四个。因此 ,英语辅音的清浊音、辅音音位以及音位组合都是陕北人学习英语语音的难点。
