大量地使用名词是科技英语的一大特点。名词迭加型、复合型和名词化型三种类型的名词性词组各自的构成及其翻译方法有所不同。
The extensive use of nouns (or its phrases) is one of the characteristics of Sci-tech English. The paper aims at the elaboration of the three kinds of noun phrases and points out their specific formations and translating techniques. Gerunds (or gerundial phrases), together with their pragmatic uses and translations, are also dealt with.
