摘要
从认知学、语言学、心理语言学等方面探讨了隐喻的认知本质 ,并论述了隐喻是一种与文化密切相关的语言现象。隐喻的理解在很大程度上取决于对目的语文化的把握 ,因此英语教学中的文化导入应得到更多关注。
This paper studies the cognitive features of metaphor from the perspectives of cognitive science, linguistics, psycholinguistics and so forth. It lays special emphasis upon the fact that metaphor is an integral part of the target language culture, and the comprehension of metaphor to a large extent depends on the mastery of that culture. In conclusion the paper points out that more attention should be paid to cultural introduction in English teaching.
