受传统文学语言观“载体”说与“工具”论的影响 ,文学语言学的研究一直未受到应有的重视 ,至今没有形成完整的学科体系。但文学语言学经历了漫长的前学科时期和准学科时期 ,古代中外哲学家、文论家曾以他们闪光的思想和睿智的见解 ,为文学语言学的建立奠定了一定的理论基础。由于语言对文学发展的制约与影响及在文学作品诸要素中具有无可比拟的重要性 ,因此 。

Because of the influence of the doctrines of 'conveyance' and 'instrument' in the traditional literary linguistics, the research on literary linguistics has not been given deserving attention and has not formed a complete discipline system until now. However, literary linguistics has undergone a long pre-discipline and sub-discipline period and the ancient Western and domestic philosophers and literary critics laid a theoretical basis for the formation of literary linguistics with their enlightening ideas and clever eyesight. Language greatly inhibits and influences the development of literature and the other essential elements in literary works, so the establishment and development of literary linguistics is possessive of internal reasonableness and scientific essentiality.
