中药合并醋酸甲羟孕酮改善晚期癌症患者恶液质

Traditional Chinese medicine combined with medroxyprogesterone acetate to treat cancerous cachexia in patients with advanced cancer

目的 观察中药合并醋酸甲羟孕酮对晚期癌症患者的厌食、体重下降、卡氏评分及癌性疼痛的止痛作用。方法 60例晚期肿瘤病人随机分为两组 ,A组 30例为中药加醋酸甲羟孕酮 ,B组 30例为单纯醋酸甲羟孕酮。结果 A组对厌食、体重下降、卡氏评分及癌性疼痛的改善方面优于B组 (P <0 .0 5)。

Objective To evaluate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with medroxyprogesterone acetate(MPA) on anorexia, weight loss ,Karnofsky scoring and alleviating cancerous pain. Methods Sixty patients of advanced cancer were randomly divided into two groups, 30 patients in group A treated with TCM and MPA, 30 patients in group B treated with MPA. Results Improvement of anorexia, weight loss, Karnofsky scoring and alleviating cancerous pain in group A was better than group B(P< 0.05). Conclusion TCM with MPA were an effective treatment in improving cancerous cachexia.
