摘要
美国籽粒苋是苋科饲用作物。它育成于美国,1987年引种到中国草业陕西千阳实验点。连续两年的试验研究及推广利用表明:美国籽粒苋适应范围广、抗逆性强、植株高大、生长迅速、产量高、适口性好、营养价值高、各种家畜均喜食。在麦茬地栽培,60～90天的生长时期内,鲜草产量可达3400～7404.4公斤/亩。美国籽粒苋在我国北方一年一熟制地区的小麦连作体系中很有发展前途。
Prince's—feather(Amaranthus hypochondriacus)is a forage crop of Amaranth Family (Amaranthaceae). It was bred in the United States. And it was introduced and seeded China Pratacultural Shaanxi Qianyang Research Station since 1987. Two years researching, extending and utilizing shows that the forage crop possesses characteristics of broad adaptability, tall and big plant,sharp growing rate,high yield, palatability, and high nutrition value. It could produce fresh forage by 51～111. 07 ton/ha during 60～90 days when it was seeded in the wheat stubble fields in July. Amaranthus hypochondriacus has a great promise in the regionof wheat—wheat continuous rotation system in northern part of China.
