摘要
目的:介绍虚拟现实建模语言(VRML)的发展历史和语言特点。方法:通过具体实例探讨了VRML在化学远程教育中对分子结构进行准确、直观的可视化表达的优势。结果:VRML具有语法简单,编写方便,传输容易的特点。结论:使用VRML来构造复杂可视模型逐渐会成为化学相关网站和电子出版物的主流,这将给化学教育带来全新面貌。
Objective: To introduce the development and characteristic of VRML in this article. Methods: It' s application in distance education field of chemistry to express molecular structure correctly and directly is also explored by providing some examples. Results: VRML has many virtues, such as simple grammar structure, easy to development and rapid transportation through Internet . Conclusion: There will be new development in education field of chemistry and it will play an important role in production of chemistry web and electronic publication, if we use VRML to construct molecular model.
