CML (Chemical Markup Language) is a new approach to managing molecularinformation. It is new in bringing the power of XML to the management of chemical information. This article introduces the primary concept, the development and application of CML. There isalso an example of CML, which is used to explain the structure of CML. Then we explain eachelement' s meaning in the document.
