Microwave irradiation-promoted nucleophilic substitution of aryl chloride with amine derivatives is described. N-Alkyl-o-nitroaniline derivatives serving as building blocks can be rapidly prepared in 50% similar to 99% yields via this new highly efficient synthetic method.
