在国家现代远程教育工程中 ,广播电视大学要实现跨越式发展 ,首先必须深刻领会“开放”的真正内涵 ,牢牢把握开放教育的发展方向 ;要坚持多渠道、多形式、多层次的发展思路 ;还要抓好计算机多媒体的开发与建设 ,并注意多种媒体手段的优化配置和综合作用 。

In order to realize the leaping forward development in the national modern distance education project, the Radio & TV University must first of all deeply comprehend the real meaning of 'Openness', and adhere firmly to the correct orientation of the development of open education. We must uphold the idea of multi channals, multi forms and multi levels developing, and take the task of exploration and construction in multi media computing, and pay special attention to optimum relocation and integrative utilization of different media, in order to make the most of the whole system.
