The life testing is one of the basic p roject of the soundness experiments.It is a key problem to estimate the various parameters of the life distribution by cutting tail test data in the soundness fields.On the basis of the life testing data of the fixed number cutting test a nd the fixed time test,the maximum likehood estimation of the characteristics l ife parameter α and the shape paramter β in Weibull's distribu tion is studied.
