China＇s Kunqu Opera was included in the UNESCO List of Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2001. As a traditional form of Chinese theatre, Kunqu Opera has not been widely known by overseas audiences. When European opera is presented worldwide and attracting numerous audiences, Chinese Kunqu Opera, enjoying equal artistic value, should also access Jbreign audiences.
