This paper discusses the need for technical preparation before the application of EPS 2008 geographical information workstation carrying out the geography situation survey project with the work of the geographical conditions in census. It includes the preparation of template and introduces the concept and composition of EPS 2008 geographical information workstation and method of preparation and modification of it .
