摘要
《欧美小说丛谈》于1913-1914年在《小说月报》连载,它为我们展示了民国初年,中国学人对世界文学图景的初步构建。《丛谈》既是一部初具比较文学性质的研究专著,又是一部能够引发我们思考的具有范式意义的文本,它为我们反思民国时期乃至建国后的外国文学研究,提供了历史的参考与借鉴。
European and American Novels, published in instalment in the Fiction Monthly from 1913 to 1914, is Chinese scholars＇ attempts to construct world literature in the early Republic of China. It is a study of comparative literature, and a stimulating work of para- digms. It would be of great help for us to rethink the foreign literary studies both before and after the founding of the People＇s Republic of China.
