This paper introduced the equivalent diameter calculation method of equivalent bar,analyzed and researched the mechanical properties and structure of equivalent bar,pointed out that application of equivalent bar technology,could solve the design and construction difficulties caused by reinforced dense in concrete beams,using the concept of equivalent diameter to treatment related structure problems in equivalent bar beam was simple and convenient.
