Taking specific project as an example,this paper introduced the investigation and preliminary work of a gully backfill area geotechnical engineering,through field exploration work and office operation data consolidation,put forward several suggestion of foundation treatment scheme,not only shorten the construction period,also save the investment for construction unit.
