With daily practice considered and focusing on the low rate of literature loan in public libraries,the paper first makes an analysis of the related statistics. Then,based on the questions raised by readers during the survey,the paper explores the ways of how to improve the loan rate of literature. Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the loan rate of literature through the expanded and extended services by libraries are put forward in the paper.
