Oral History and the Compilation of Local Gazetteers

本文简要阐述了口碑或口述史资料在方志编纂中的应用情况,并通过具体事例分析了口述史资料在方志编纂中应用不足的原因和问题,认为方志编纂借鉴口述史资料及其成果,重视口述资料的入志,对于拓展志书的资料来源,弥补资料缺憾,深化志书记述内容具有非常重要的意义,这应成为方志机构和编纂者研究的一个重要课题。

This article briefly describes the application of the mouth or oral history information in compiling local gazetteers,and analyses the causes and problems of the lack of application through concrete examples. It holds that compilation of local gazetteers should use the oral history data and achievement. This has very important implications for expanding sources of local gazetteers and deepening the contents of local gazetteers. It should become an important theme of study of the organizations and compilers of local gazetteers.
