津海关事件起因探析

Analysis of the Causes of Jin Customs Event

1930年6月,阎锡山武力占据津海关,在海内外引起强烈反响。津海关事件虽是中国近代海关史上的一件大事,但有关该事件起因的专题论述较少。阎锡山派军占据津海关这个个案的发生并不是历史的偶然。如果从比较宽泛的层面而言,津海关事件是国民党内部各军事集团之间矛盾斗争的产物,而从相对微观的地方细究,可以发现也只有阎锡山这个鲜活的历史人物才能在合适的时间和地点承担起那样的角色。

In June 1930,Yan Xishan occupied Jin Customs by force,which aroused strong reactions at home and abroad.Though it is an important event in modern Chinese Cus-toms history,there is little literature on its causes.The occupation of Jin Customs by Yan Xishan’s army is by no means a historical incident.Perceived from a relatively macro view point,this event is a consequence of the conflicts insides the military groups of Kuomintang and seen from the micro aspect,it can be discovered that only Yan Xishan,such an active historical figure,can fulfill such a role at the right moment and place.With the increasing in-tensity of the Central Plain Warfare,the Shanxi Military group faced with a shortage of pro-visions and as a result,Yan Xishan put it on the agenda to take over Jin Customs.
