摘要
作为国内外普遍接受和采用的衡量机房基础架构能源利用效率的指标之一,PUE在全球机房行业得到广泛应用。文中介绍PUE指标的产生背景及定义,对业界当前存在的对PUE值应用的常见误区进行分析,指出PUE值测量的关键在于测量点的选择和测量周期及频次的设计,并在详尽介绍与分析TGG白皮书和云计算发展与政策论坛《数据中心能效测评指南》等指导性文件的基础上,结合《海关信息系统机房建设规范》行业标准,针对海关信息系统机房特点,提出了分级测量方案,对海关系统以最小代价准确高效地应用与实施PUE值测量给出了建议与说明。
As one of the universally accepted metrics about the energy efficiency of data centers,PUE has been widely applied in the global industry of data centers.This paper de-scribes the background and definition of PUE metric.It also analyzes some common miscon-ceptions concerning the application of PUE values.Furthermore,it points out that the accu-racy of the PUE values is determined by the selection of measuring point and the design re-garding measuring cycle and frequency.Moreover,based on the characteristics of the infor-mation system room in Customs,it proposes some suggestions and instructions on graded measurement solutions, which can achieve PUE values accurately and efficiently with minimal cost.The research is based on a detailed description and analysis of some guidance documents,such as the TGG white papers,“the Data Center Energy Efficiency Assessment Guide”from the cloud computing development and policy forum,and “the Customs Infor-mation System Room Construction Standard”.
