The Present Development Pattern of China:Mechanism, Challenges, and Recommendations

改革开放30多年,中国通过一系列的政策组合,促进了经济快速增长。"中国模式"与"东亚模式"有相似之处,也各有其特点。中国在改革过程中,由于各种制度因素的影响,导致了地方政府过度追求GDP增长,对经济、社会、环境和生态都带来了负面影响。针对中国当前发展方式,本文提出了六点改革建议。

Over the past more than 30 years of reform and opening-up, China succeeded in facilitating the rapid economic growth with a series of policy mixes. The China Model and the East Asian Model have both parallels and their own peculiarities. China goes into the pattern that local governments are overwhelmed by the pursuit of GDP growth in the reform process, which brings negative influences on economy, society, environment, and ecology. This article puts forward six reform recommendations against the present development pattern of China.
