整体文明论

On the Theory of Integral Civilization

人类文明演进到今天,终于出现了整体化或综合化的趋势,进而形成了一种整体文明。整体文明是一种综合性或复合性的文明形态,是我们从整体性的视角而对人类文明的一种把握和认识。整体文明的生成是在当今人类社会整体化发展的大背景下而出现的一种具有积极意义的必然趋势,它代表着人类文明演进的方向和未来。在内容结构上,整体文明是人的文明、物质文明、政治文明、精神文明和生态文明的有机统一体。整体文明具有整体性、协同性和历史性等的特征。马克思恩格斯的社会结构理论,为我们提出整体文明提供了充分的理论依据。当今中国推进中国特色社会主义事业的过程,其实就是一个追求整体文明发展的过程。研究和建设整体文明,具有十分重要的理论和现实意义。建设整体文明,应当坚持以整体为目标的重点推进原则。

Nowadays, a tendency towards integration or totalization has eventually appeared in the evolution of human civilization, which has further formed an integral civilization. As a comprehensive or compound form of civilization, integral civilization is a kind of comprehension and understanding of human civilization from the perspective of integrity. The formation of integral civilization is an inevitable trend of positive significance, which has appeared against the background of the integral development of the present-day human society. It represents the direction and the future of the evolution for human civilization. It is an organic unity of human civilization, material civilization, political civilization, spiritual civilization and ecological civilization in terms of content and structure. Integral civilization is characterized with integrity, coordination and historicity. Marx and Engels＇ s social-structure theory provides adequate theoretical basis for the proposing of integral civilization. The process of promoting the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in China today is actually a process of pursuing the development of integral civilization. The study and construction of integral civilization are of very important theoretical and practical significance. In the construction of integral civilization, we should stick to the principle of key - point advancement with the integrity as our target.
