On Mao Zedong's Idea to Establish “The Science-based Central Committee”

1956年,毛泽东明确提出了建立"科学中央委员会"的构想。这一构想的提出,既是他对科学技术在推动经济社会发展中重大作用深刻认识的必然反映,又是他对党的工作重心转移以后,党所面临的新情况、新任务必然给中央领导成员的知识结构提出新的要求的清醒把握。

In 1956,MaoZedong clearly proposed to establish＂the science-based central committee＂. His proposal of the establishment was then a requirement for the Central Government members＇ access to the new knowledge structure arising from the Party＇s confrontation with new situations and tasks after its shift of the central work.
