试论才子佳人小说对传统婚姻观的突破

A Tentative Discussion of the Breakthrough in Chinese “Talents and Bueaties” Novels to the Tradiditional Outlook of Marriage

明末清初时期的才子佳人小说是中国古代文学史上不可忽视的小说类型,以"显扬女子,颂其异能"作为作品的主要意旨。在与传统的婚姻观相比较中可知,才子佳人小说有了新的突破,主要体现在以下几个方面:男女双方建立婚姻的基础是以"才、色、情、识"为标准;在恋爱过程中,以恋爱自由为主的现象;结合方式,家长和皇帝只起到帮助结局的作用,其前提是男女双方相爱,男女平等,并非强迫结合。

Abstrac：The Chinese novels on gifted scholars and beautiful ladies during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties are a novel genre to be reckoned with in Chinese ancient history, with the major gist of＂odes to prettiness and heroism＂. Compared with the traditional view of marriage, the novels on gifted scholars and beautiful ladies have a new breakthrough that is mainly reflected in following aspects： suitor selection for marriage based on the criterions of＂Talent,Charm,Emotion,and Knowledge＂between men and women; prevalence of courtship freedom; and equality between men and women, other than forced marriage.
