中医药防治研究放化疗毒副反应40年

Preventing and relieving with chinese medicine the toxic or side effects caused by chemo-and/or radiotherapy over the past 40 years

通过 40年的临床治疗及近 2 0年的实验研究 ,特别是通过本文对 2 10 0 0例癌症病人的观察发现 :在放化疗中加服中医药治疗可明显地减轻放化疗的毒副反应。同时在中西医结合组中 ,病人的全身、消化道和血象反应都较单纯放化疗组为轻。病人的体质得到加强 ,生存质量明显提高。多年来 ,临床观察发现有不少常见癌瘤由于长期的坚持中西医结合治疗都提高了远期生存率。近 2 0年来开展大量的实验研究充分证明 :某些中药有提高机体免疫功能 ,促进网状内皮系统的吞噬作用 ,有保护骨骼造血功能 ,减少白细胞、血小板下降的作用。清热解毒药实验研究证明具有抗菌、消炎、清热退烧和抗病毒感染等作用。一些活血化瘀药实验研究证明具有改善微循环、增加血管通透性、改善肿瘤局部缺氧而有利于放射治疗增敏的作用。

Through our clinical pratice over the past 40 years and nearly 20 year laboratory experiments, we have got a remarkable effectiveness of relieving side effects of chemo\| and/or radiotherapy from the 21?000 cases of cancer patients presented in the paper, who were treated with both Traditional Chinese Medicin(TCM) and chemo\| and/or radiotherapy.Meanwhile, the general conditions, gastrointestinal symptoms and hemogram of the patients in the group with treatmeut of chinese medicine integrated with western medicine were also proved better than that of the control group. The physical status and the quality of life in the treating group was significantly improved. Our conclusion is that those who persist in being treated by the integrating protocol of T.C.M. and western medicine get long\|term survival rates of their own. In last 20years, a vast amount of laboratory experiments have done with full evidences yielded that some Chinese herbs or medicines are able to improve the immune system of human body and phagocytosis of reticuloendothelial system, protect hemopoiesis of bone marrow, prevent the number of WBC and platelet from dropping. The herbs of clearing\|up heat evil and toxicity were proved to be antibiotic, anti-fever and anti-virus-infectious. Some other herbs of promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis could enhance radio sensitivity by improving microcirculation, hypoxia of local sites of tumors and increasing the permeability of blood vessels.
