Study on Systematic Discipline and Systematic of Self-built Databases——Investigation Report on Self-built Databases of Nationwide Undergraduate Universities

本文通过对全国697所本科院校图书馆自建数据库调查分析,发现自建数据库存在数量不足、缺乏系统性、学科体系化以及利用率低等问题,并结合信息资源建设理论以及对部分学校的案例,分析探讨了提升高校图书馆自建数据库的策略。

According to the investigation and analysis of self-built databases of libraries in 697 nationwide undergraduate universities,this paper can reach the conclusion that self-built databases of libraries have a number of deficiencies such as quantity shortage,lack of systematic discipline and low usage.Combining the theory of information resource construction and the case analysis of part of schools,this paper discusses the strategy of how to improve the construction of self-built databases for university libraries.
