The Chang River can never be left alone at the mere mention of Jingdezhen. The kilns were built alongside the banks of the Chang River, and the city grew with the kilns, stretching as a dragon. It is undeniable that the Chang River is the cradle of the ceramic culture and history in Jingdezhen. For thousands and hundreds of years, the transportation on the Chang River sent the Jingdezhen porcelain up to Qi and Wu, and down to Po and Xun; even sending the porcelain through Yangtze River and extending to the outside oceans, spreading the porcelain to the rest of the country and to the whole world. The ceramic relics along the Chang River witnessed the millennium prosperity of Jingdezhen.
