近年来,随着我国经济不断的发展,环境污染问题越来越严重,作为传递知识和信息的公共图书馆应该利用自身的优势,在自身节能以及环保宣传中做出贡献。从公共图书馆建筑节能、从业人员自身环保理念的培养、对读者的环保宣传等方面,阐述了公共图书馆在环保事业中已经做的、正在做的以及还能做的事情。

In recent years, with the continuous development of Chinese economy, the problem of environmental pollution is more and more serious. As an institution of transferring knowledge and information, the public library should make its contribution to energy conservation and environment protection by using its own advantages. This paper expounds something that the public library has done, is dong and will do in environment protection from aspects of the energy conservation of public library buildings, the cultivation of employees＇ environmental awareness, and the environment protection propaganda to readers, etc.
