Exploration of the Reform Approach on College English Teaching in the Perspective of Liberal Education

在我国大学教育中,通识教育的重要性已经日益凸显,大学英语教学是通识教育的重要组成部分。然而,在当前大学英语教学中,存在着教材内容陈旧,教学手段单一等诸多问题。因此,当前的一项紧要任务,是改革大学英语教学,使之更好地与通识教育需要和发展相适应。

For college education in China, the liberal education is becoming increasingly important. However, the college English teaching nowadays, as an important part of liberal education, has problems including out-dated textbook content and simple ＆ single teaching methods and so on. Therefore, it is an urgency to reform the college English teaching, making it adapt to the requirements and development of liberal education.
