当前英语语音教学的现状及思考——基于“央视记者中式英语访非洲官员”的报导

Current Situations and thinking of English Phonetic Teaching——in View of the News of CCTV Reporter's Interviewing African Official in Chinese English

从人们对央视记者使用中式英语采访的反应中,可以看出当前英语语音教学的现状不容乐观,至少存在三个方面问题,即英语语音教学忽视英语变体的存在、刻意追求英美英语的语音标准和严重脱离语言的实际应用。因此,要深化英语语音教学改革,需做到树立科学的语言态度,确立英语语音的本土化理念,并注重英语口语训练。

It can be seen that the current status of English phonetic teaching is not optimistic from the reaction to the usage of Chinese English from CCTV reporter’s interview .There exist at least three problems in English phonetics teaching which ,namely ,ignore the existence of English variants ,deliberately pursue the phonetic standard of British and American English and seriously break away from the practical application of language .Therefore ,what we need to do is to set up scientific attitude of language ,establish the idea of the localization of English phonetics ,and emphasize the training of oral English if deepening the reform of the English phonetics teaching .
