刍议提升高校图书馆为区域发展的贡献度——以昭通学院为例

On the Contribution of College Library to Local and Regional Development——Taking Zhaotong University for Example

信息化时代的特征就是开放性,高校图书馆必须适应形势的发展,加强对外开放,在为学校的教学科研提供文献信息保障的基础上更好地服务于社会,满足区域人民群众读书、求知、科研的需要,逐渐扩展高校图书馆社会化服务职能和服务范围,保护和开发利用好区域文化资源,不断提升高校图书馆为区域发展的贡献度,逐步实现与区域经济发展相适应的发展目标。推动地方经济文化发展,这既是社会发展的需要,也是高校图书馆自我完善和发展的需要。

Openness is the most distinctive feature of the age of information .College library should adapt itself to the development of the situation and to a larger extent ,open itself up to the outside .Besides providing document information and references to college’s scientific research ,the library should also better its service to the society and try to meet local people’s need for reading ,obtaining knowledge and scientific study .As a result ,it is necessary to broaden the college library’s function and scope of socialized service and protect and make full use of the regional cultural resources to make more contribution to regional development and gradually achieve the development goals of getting adapt to the development of regional economy .To boost the development of regional economy and culture is not only a request raised by social development but also by college library’s self-perfection and development .
