摘要
五年的留法经历是徐特立从“教育救国论者”到“人民教育家”的重要转折点。目前，论者普遍认为张敬尧的通缉是促使徐特立赴法的直接原因。但实际上，在张敬尧以通匪之名通缉徐特立时，徐特立早已远赴法国。通过分析和梳理文献可知，“教育救国”理想的破灭和“劳工神圣”学说的鼓舞是徐特立赴法的主要原因，而当时轰轰烈烈的留法勤工俭学运动则是其赴法的契机和直接原因。
Five years of study in France is an important turning point of XU Te-li＇s changing from the ＂savingcountry through education＂ to ＂people＇s educator＂. At present, the theorists generally believe XU＇s being wanted byZHANG Jing-yao prompted him to study abroad. But in fact,when ZHANG Jing-yao wanted XU in the name of this, XU had been＇ in France. By analyzing the literature, we learn that the disillusionment of ＂saving country through education＂ and sacred labor were the main reasons, and that the vigorous work-study program in France was the direct cause.
