摘要
"文学无用论"造就了许多英语专业学生对英美文学教育敬而远之。事实上,现实关怀是实现文学教育"无用之有用"的重要途径。有鉴于此,本文试图指出以"环境问题"为切入点,开设英语环境文学课程的可行性与必要性。此外,文章还通过分析美国内华达大学和中国厦门大学的成功案例,旨在探索如何利用超学科教学理念和建构主义教学理念来构建环境文学课堂,从而实现"改革第一课堂,活跃第二课堂,延伸第三课堂"的创新模式。
The argument that "literature is futile" has been intimidating English majors. To achieve the "Useful Uselessness", the concern of social reality should be added to literature education. With the environmental concern as the entry point, this paper tended to argue the necessity and possibility of opening an English Environmental Literature Course. Based on the case studies of the Nevada University in the U. S. and the Xiamen University in China, this paper also wanted to explore the possible innovative teaching mode of the Environmental Literature Course from the transdisciplinary and constructivism perspectives.
