焦炉煤气是冶金企业重要的产品和消耗品,焦炉煤气因其热值高的特点,被广泛使用在炼钢、炼铁、轧钢等各项生产的加热环节。其消耗量的测量值直接反映各单位能耗考核指标的完成情况,因此焦炉煤气流量测量工作一直是能源计量的重点之一。但因焦炉煤气是一种多种气体组成的混合气体,本身具有流速低、密度小、带有焦油、灰尘、水份等特点,测量效果不甚理想,热式气体质量流量计为焦炉煤气的计量提供一条新的途径。

Coke oven gas is important product and consumable product in the metallurgical enterprise, and is used widely in heating process, such as steel making, iron making, rolling, etc due to its high heat value. The consumable measurement value of coke oven gas can directly reflect the performance （complete status） of the energy consumption index So the measurement of the coke oven gas flow is one of the emphases of the energy measurement. But the coke oven gas is one of the mixed gas, it has the character of low flow speed, low density, contained coke oil, dust, water, ete, the measurement result is normally not so satisfied, but the thermal mass flow meter afford one new approach for the coke oven gas measurement.
