Reflections on the Positioning of College English Teachers in the New Era Environment

新时代环境下大学生群体由于成长环境和社会环境的不同,具有不同的人生观、价值观,审美观。本文旨在深入了解大学生的成长环境、心理特点,课堂表现来分析大学英语教学中的不足,探索新时代环境下大学英语教师的定位思考。作者提出大学英语教师应"解放思想,与时俱进,实事求是"的进行大学英语教学改革以及终身学习的方案,以适应信息高速发展的社会及学习创新型社会的需要。

Due to the different growth and social environment, the college students in new era are different in outlook of life, values and aesthetics. This article aims to analyze the disadvantages in the college teaching and to explore the positioning of college teachers. The author suggests college English teachers should free their mind, keep up with the space and seek the truth from the facts to pursue the reform of college English teaching and to realize the lifelong learning program, which can promote them to meet the development of information society and the learning needs of an innovative society.
