两种方法饲养湖北钉螺的对比观察

Comparison of two methods of rearing Oncomelania hupensis

目的对比两种人工饲养湖北钉螺方法,建立实验室钉螺饲养的最佳方法。方法保持实验室温度、湿度、光照等条件一致,采用泥钵饲养法和搪瓷盘草纸饲养法,对湖北钉螺进行平行饲养观察,统计各自钉螺死亡率。结果泥钵饲养法钉螺的累计死亡率为19.08%,月平均死亡率为9.75%;搪瓷盘草纸饲养法钉螺的累计死亡率为30.08%,月平均死亡率14.28%。两种饲养方法钉螺死亡率的差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论泥钵法饲养钉螺在提高钉螺存活率方面具有一定优势,但此法操作较为繁琐,大规模饲养时劳动量大,有待作进一步改进。

Objective To Compare two kinds of artificial method of rearing snails and establish the best method in laboratory. Methods Snails were fed in two kinds of container, the mud bowl and enamel plate padded with straw paper, under the same temperature, humidity, and illumination conditions. The mortality of snails was observed. Results The cumulative mortality of snails fed in mud bowl and enamel plate padded with straw paper was 19.08%and 30.08%, respectively. The monthly average mortality was 9.75%and 14.28%, respectively. There was statistical differences between the two kinds of method （P〈0.01）. Conclusion Snails fed in mud bowl could improve survival rate, but this method need further improvement for its complicated operation and much labor when mass rearing.
