This article introduces the current situations and problems faced of steel box bridge pavement layer. It takes the Yangtze River Bridge as an example to explain the selection of steel box bridge＇s waterproof bonding system, the waterproofing design of Topever system, the construction technology process of the sand blasting of the pavement and waterproof bonding system; moreover, the paper also puts forward some related precautions.
