Reading Notes of Yan Yiping's New Edition of Oracle-bones Joint

介绍了严一萍先生生平,对严氏《甲骨缀合新编》摹本进行了校订,并对严氏的缀合方法进行了探讨,认为《新编》中的缀合版具有相当重要的价值:补充订正旧说;经缀合能发现新的甲骨文字或发现已知甲骨文字的新用法;提供了关于商代的重要史料。

This paper introduces Yan Yiping＇s life,and makes a revision of the facsimile edition of Yan＇s New Edition of Oracle-bones Joint.It also discusses Yan＇s jointing method,and holds that the joint edition of the New Edition of Oracle-bones Joint is considerably important since it can supplement and amend the former viewpoints,find new characters of oracle-bone inscription or find new usages of them,and provide important historical information about Shang dynasty.
