This paper demonstrated a variety of technical solutions for the replacement of Panyu old pipeline end termination （PLET） . The finally adopted solution was that retained the old PLET, re-designed and constructed a new PLET. Then, installed the new PLET in the vicinity of the old PLET. The key problems in technology and innovation points were elaborated on. The technical conclusions of PLET replacement project were sumarized systematically. The received experience had an important reference value for the similar projects.
