According to the live management condition, the classified record and data application of metro train fault events are explored and summarized, the final data after classification are introduced in detail. The fault events of metro train can be classified into systems which contain train facilities, partsand types of fault, then be recordedwith combination of other relevant contents and information. The data information of train faults that comes from the classification and standard recordcan arc applied to the settlement and tracksofmetro trains, to the amendment,complement and improvement of the overhaul regulations at different levels,to the quality analysis prior to the maintenance at different levels as well as the development of train ＇s quality management. The classified record and data application of train faut events play an important role in the enhancement of train overhaul quality,in the deletion of hidden dangers and the ensurancc of metro trainsafety.
